With an interior with the aforementioned white table cloths, a vibrant décor with a theme of magenta, ruby and red-orange is enhanced by the small details like fresh flowers and candles lighting every table. It’s not your “typical” Latin American cliché.

Julia’s menu is in constant flux, with dishes changing along with the seasons to reflect the freshest produce. Depending on the time of year, and the occasional whimsy of Chef Jose Garcia you’ll find dishes like pan fried butterfly rainbow trout with sautéed mushrooms, baby shrimp topped with a passion fruit Madeira sauce and achiote-marinated pork taquitos as well as plantain-crusted snapper. 

“Our goal is to give customers something different, tasty, fresh and not break the bank. We’re locally owned and although the white table cloths sometimes intimidate people, Julia’s is really a relaxed atmosphere,” said Ric Ancira.

Dinner isn’t the only thing served at Julia’s. At lunch you’ll find wraps, burgers, their famous chipotle Caesar salad topped with Manchego cheese served with snappy sides like yucca fries, fresh seasonal vegetables or a chipotle potato salad.

Recently debuting a special tapas menu Monday through Thursday, Julia’s is a casual bistro suited to a range of diners: from the excitement of a romantic first date, to weekday dinner, to a formal business meeting, Julia’s is what you make of it.
